I don't get people that buy ten new cars that aren't really that different for what they will use it for, its not like hes going to the track by the look of it, it looks like they are trying to get one for each company.

I hate to say it, but this collection isn't really that cool. Like, they're all awesome cars individually, but as one collection it kind of seems like a "well, I won the lottery so I'm just going to buy whatever is new and expensive without really putting much thought into it" collection. Obviously I'm jealous and I don't mean to come across as a hater, but I can't help but wonder if the dude actually bought them because he likes them all or if he bought them because these are the cars that everyone else likes right now.

exactly. I could understand this guy owning a few of these, but all of them together just isn't diverse enough in my opinion. If I had that kind of money, I'd want cars that were all unique and different from each other.

right, the i8 may be the only one in there with any significant long term interest or value. the rest are all "mass-produced" supercars.
the jag and the porsche will be worth 30k in 5-10 years. and is that a lexus or xf over there in the corner?
and isnt an r8 and a gallardo a little redundant?
